Choosing a personalized infant book

Babies and toddlers respond to rhythm and repetition long before they follow a plot. For the youngest readers — roughly newborn to two — look for short, repeating lines and calm illustrations, which is why our bedtime and farm titles work well as a first book. From around two, alphabet books start to earn their place: hearing their own name beside each letter gives a child a reason to care about the letters themselves.

From three onward, a story with a beginning and an end holds attention, and being named as the hero of it is what makes a book get pulled off the shelf again. Our adventure titles are written for that age.

How personalization works

You add your child’s first name, choose their character, and can add a short dedication printed inside the front cover. The personalizer shows you a review step before you pay, so every detail can still be changed. Each book is then printed to order — nothing is made until you place it.

Softcover or hardcover

Both editions are printed on FSC-certified paper at 20×20 cm. Softcover is lighter and easier for small hands; hardcover is the one that survives being read at bedtime for years. You choose the cover inside the personalizer, and the price updates as you pick.
